Wayne Music Festival

Downtown Wayne has an annual music festival which features several streets blocked off and three stages for musical groups, streetside vendor booths featuring local restaurants and various community groups connecting with local residents. Wayne Cares ocassionally sponsors a booth to promote and publicize our Wayne Food Pantry. We have handed out free pretzels and food pantry flyers to the attendees. We have received favorable community support and interest, with several people offering their services as volunteers! 

Wayne Fall Festival

WayneCares has sponsored a space to promote our Wayne Food Pantry at the Radnor Fall Festival on N. Wayne Ave. We distributed 600 pretzels and food pantry flyers to the patrons. Best of all, we were able to provide information about who we are, what we do and how they can help!

Unity in the Community Day

We were happy to take part in the Radnor Parks and Rec Department Unity in the Community event held annually on Highland Ave. Food, fun, music and pretzels!! Good to see some of our food pantry patrons!

Wheels of Wayne

Downtown Wayne has an annual Wheels of Wayne Car Show held in late April. WayneCares has offered free pretzels to the community and information on our services. We have received favorable community support and interest, with several people offering their services as volunteers! Our team has participated in past years and future opportunities are at the discretion of the board.
