Music Festival

Downtown Wayne has an annual music festival which features several streets blocked off and three stages for musical groups, streetside vendor booths featuring local restaurants and various community groups connecting with local residents. This years festival was Saturday, June 11.  For the first time, Wayne Cares, sponsored a booth to promote and publicize our Wayne Food Pantry! We handed out free pretzels and food pantry flyers  to all the attendees. We received much favorable support and interest, with several people offering there services as volunteers! It’s very probable we will make this an annual event!
